Location: Georgetown, KY Description: Our client is currently seeking a CW Planning Engineer Duration: 07-Mar-2022 - 03-Mar-2023Max Submits Per Supplier: 3Description:Reason for Request:TMNA E&F needs a Mechanical Planning & Design Engineer to plan and develop projects throughout North America.Responsibilities of the project engineer include, but are not limited to, the following:1. Develop technical evaluation criteria related to sizing and design for the renewal of mechanical systems (chilled water, compressed air, HVAC, piping, controls, cooling towers, etc.)2. Provide technical support to N.A. plants in areas of mechanical system sizIng, design, and pre-construction planning. 3. Serve as N.A. "Subject Matter Expert" related to mechanical systems.4. Investigate building industry trends, global Toyota trends, and current/past building issues to introduce innovation andimprovements for N.A. mechanical systems. 5. Support the development of N.A. building standards/specifications for mechanical systems. 6. Complete technical evaluation criteria related to potential building expansions including system capactity studies, estimates of modified/new mechanical systems, and schedules to implement. 7. Provide internal review of mechanical system drawings from outside engineering firms to support system implementation.15 years + 0-5 years5-10 years 10-15 years Level of experience: Required Qualifications:1. 3+ Experience in industrial mechanical system design & implementation. 2. 3+ Experience in industrial buildings and building related systems. 3. Intermediate skill level with: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and Outlook)4. Proficiency in AutoCAD, BluBeam, or other PDF editing software.Additional Desired Qualifications:1. Professional Engineering License (PE)2. Mechanical estimating experienceCollege Degree in Mechanical Engineer Requirements:RM Notes:Large portion of job is taking technical information and putting it into PPT format to create business case justifications. If we want to do a project, we have to go in front of executives to get money approved. Not doing design drawings. More higher level. Skills with excel and PPT and outlook are a must - with good communication skills. High level concepts. High ability with teams and being able to present coherent ideas.We are on hybrid schedule - 50% in office, 50% remote.
