A fintech company located in AZ is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to add to their growing team. Day to day, this engineer will split there time between monitoring and operations (30%) and project work (70%). They would ideally like to see candidates that have either a development background (Python or Java) or that are very proficient in infrastructure as code technologies (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.) They are also looking for candidates with experience working within at least one cloud provider (they use AWS). Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience within cloud administration
- Experience with at least one infrastructure as code tool such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt, etc.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Gitlab, etc.
- 1+ year of experience building and deploying cloud based infrastructure
- Experience with source code management systems such as BitBucket or Github
- Scirpting experience with either Bash, Perl, PHP, Python, Ruby or JavaScript
- Experience working in a highly available application environment
- Experience with monitoring or alerting tools
- Experience creating meaningful dashboards more logging, monitoring and alerting
- Experience with container development (Docker or Kuberentes)
- Working knowledge of PCI compliance
- Expertise in a least one cloud native relational database
