The Manager will be responsible for managing a team of procurement analysts, identifying and leading corporate strategies, and supporting continued improvements across the organization while collaborating with our internal partners. This team is responsible for both indirect (internal GDIT stakeholders) and direct (government customer) requests within the Cloud/SaaS commodity.The selected candidate can work on-site on a Hybrid schedule, or 100% remote if not local to a GDIT office locationManagement Responsibilities:Manage the daily operations of the team of Procurement Analysts responsible for cradle to grave procurement of cloud and software. May spend a limited portion of performing the work they manage.

Manage and ensure all sourcing execution adheres to GDIT’s internal compliance standards and all government contracting regulatory requirements, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).

Responsible for all aspects of staffing and personnel management, to include mentoring, coaching, training, professional development, merit, onboarding, termination, and compliance with policy, process, and procedures.

Establish and maintain strategic and mission-critical supplier relationships, with partnership from Alliances and Growth organizations.

Develop strategic sourcing approaches, to include establishing master software agreements, volume purchase agreements, and other procurement initiatives.

Drive cost savings by partnering with internal stakeholders and Category Management to identify, develop, and deliver on sourcing strategies.

Lead and manage team to perform strategic RFx initiatives in support of indirect and direct stakeholders, resulting in leadership briefings with a focus on total cost analysis.

Act as escalation point for negotiations or issue resolution related to team’s purchase orders and agreements.

Monitor and track team’s compliance reporting to resolve outstanding issues.

Work with leadership and peers to improve all aspects of the supply chain department by reviewing current methodology and offering process improvement opportunities.

Qualifications :Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of five (5) years of Federal Procurement Experience OR 9+ years of Federal Procurement Experience

Management experience and/or a successful track record of using subject matter expertise to mentor and assist peers or more junior level team members

​In-depth knowledge of FAR procurement requirements

Effective prioritizing, problem solving, and execution

Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and presentation skills

Strong communication skills and experience briefing leadership

Experience in conducting complex agreement negotiations, managing complex RFPs, and supporting strategic sourcing approaches.

Contractual experience, including pricing, and key terms and conditions negotiations.

Desired Qualifications :Strong leadership skills and ability to bring people together to solve problems.

Experience purchasing software, cloud/SaaS products

Background/experience in software agreements and understanding of mitigating supply chain risk
