Picking and Packing Associate - Up to $16.44 an hour! (Batesville)

Responsibilities:

This job consists of one of more duties involving the efficient picking and packing, handling, handling and the timely movement of stock in and out of pick locations. The primary goal is to move products safely with minimal damage while maximizing productivity. Detailed Standard Operating Procedures exist for tasks performed by this job in the following areas: Receiving, Picking, and Packing Orders. Thrive team members will be assessed on their Safety, Teamwork, Quality and Productivity.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

May complete the activity of Radio Frequency (RF) or paper-based picking including

obtaining and transferring product from various locations throughout the distribution center.

Will be expected to report inventory issues to management for investigation and resolution.

Ensures all areas of work are done accurately to ensure optimal customer service.

Maintains a clean and safe work environment, performs job functions in a safe manner, and reports any potential job hazards to management, including maintaining good housekeeping practices.

Maintains productivity related to standards based on assigned task.

Performs other duties as assigned or requested by management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must be 18 years of age.

Basic Computer skills

Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.

Verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the capability to adjust to change and interruptions.

Ability to work with limited supervision.

Shift and Pay

Wed – Sat: 6pm - 4:30am (10-hour shift w/ 30-minute lunch) - $16/hr

Sun – Tues: 5:45pm - 6:15am (12-hour w/ 30-minute lunch) - $16.44/hr

Overtime is currently paid as double time
