Summary of Team Lead:

The Team Lead acts as a liaison between the client and the staff who work at client locations. The primary responsibilities of the Team Lead are to relieve the client supervisors of their labor related administrative duties pertaining to the staff, ensuring a smooth relationship and a performance driven workforce. Additionally, the Team Lead is to be the driving force behind achieving the stated performance standards, quality standards, safety standards and other objectives

Responsibilities of Team Lead:

Lead and coordinate all activities related to a performance-based shift to maximize productivity while maintaining quality according to all site-specific standards. Oversee and impact production workflow and associate performance through effective leadership and coaching, ensuring adequate and visible on-floor presence.

Conduct orientations & training for new associates.

Monitor attendance, safety, productivity, and quality of Performance Associates. Make prompt decisions on personnel and employee relation issues and notify Supervisor and engage Human Resources when appropriate.

Ensure a safe working environment and report all hazardous conditions/equipment to his/her manager immediately. Report and investigate all workplace injuries in compliance with company policy.

Be primary communication contact with client, Acción associates, and Acción management to ensure client objectives are consistently achieved. Communicate with recruitment team members to ensure client personnel needs are sufficiently staffed.

Maintain an excellent working relationship and effective communication with all client and Acción team members.

Complete and submit all reports, forms and requests timely and accurately, including daily production data and attendance updates.

Comply and conform to company operating procedures manual. Fulfill responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s “Code of Business Conduct.”

Position may involve limited travel to branch locations or clients as needed

Requirements of Team Lead:

Requirements will vary based on client / project. However, applicants should be comfortable with the following:

Bilingual ( Spanish and English) preferred

Working from their feet for a standard shift, and occasionally for an extended shift (whether remaining stationary or walking)

Working with both hands

Kneeling, bending over, turning from side to side

Safely lifting up to 40 pounds from time to time

Computer Skilled

Able to manage large crew of people

Multitask

Minimum of high school diploma or GED

Previous team lead and warehouse experience preferred

Team Lead Compensation:

$15-$17 an hour dependent upon experience ​
