Granger Property looking for experienced Maintenance Tech (Granger)

Busy Regional Property Manager/Owner Company in Granger, IN is looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician to work under the direction of a Maintenance Supervisor. We are looking for an individual with experience in general maintenance as well as an interest and experience in specialties such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall and painting. Only motivated/self-starters should apply for these positions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds.

Repair and maintain simple electrical circuits, switches, outlets and lighting fixtures.

Repair, install, and maintain basic plumbing fixtures such as water heaters, lavatories, toilets, dishwashers.

Repair and maintain building exteriors, roofs, doors, windows, etc.

Install drywall, trim, counters, appliances, etc. to vacant units on turn.

Must be willing to work some evening, weekend, and on-call shifts as well as emergencies.

Communicate effectively and display a professional manner when dealing with supervisors, co-workers, residents and individuals inside and outside the organization.

Work effectively as a team member, participating actively and constructively.

Perform all duties in a safe manner by following all Company safety procedures for the operation of equipment, machinery and hazardous substances and chemicals.

Required Qualifications:

Two years of experience in routine maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds including electrical and plumbing.

Valid Driver's License and auto insurance

HVAC Certification preferred but not required.
