DESCRIPTION Job summaryCome and join a team of dedicated, friendly engineers building and operating a regionally replicated document store built on Dynamo and OpenSearch. This is a unique opportunity to join an early stage team with a stable but new product early in its life cycle. You will be part of the team growing the feature set and seeing us through exponential growth of our customer base. A day in the lifeYou will be creating and maintaining the team culture, setting our quality bar, engineering best practices, and norms. Delivering iteratively on projects that really matter and earning trust with your team and your customers will be the primary ways you measure your own success. Recognizing that there's often more to learn from failure than success, you'll experiment constantly. You will build backend systems using Java based AWS technologies. You will be innovating in fail over strategies, read/write concurrency contention and other problem spaces required for a highly available multi-primary, multi-region, full text searchable data store. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
  • 1+ years of experience in software development
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operationsThe pay range for this position in Colorado is $75,000 - $100,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay Act. Base pay information is based on market location.
