Job Description

The Accounts Payable Representative II position is responsible for invoice and payment process cycles, accounts payable policies and procedures, and to provide accounts payable administrative support to the BIC Community and its suppliers.

Main Responsibilities/Tasks

  • Review and verify invoices and payment requests
  • Enter and upload invoices into the Transform and JDE/Oracle Accounts Payable systems
  • Post transactions to general ledger
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions
  • Research and resolve invoice/purchase order/receipt discrepancies
  • Prepare month end closing processes including journal entries
  • Support team in the preparation and analysis of accounts payable working capital metrics
  • Undertake special projects and ad-hoc analysis as needed
  • New Supplier set up in JDE Supplier Master – working directly with the Supplier Compliance team


· Associates Degree in Accounting or 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience and exposure to operations in a consumer goods environment

· Proficient in JDE/Oracle and Transform accounts payable systems

· In-depth knowledge in the fundamentals of accounts payable processing

· Ability to make decisions independently and to identify issues and orchestrate action.

· Comprehensively solving problems and achieve objectives

· Ability to work well with all levels of the organization and within a multi-functional team environment

· Strong organizational skills are essential to work in a fast paced environment

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Office 360

· Willingness to adapt to changing business requirements and learn new systems/ methods as required

· Ability to meet deadlines

· Problem analysis and problem-solving skills

· Strong organizational and planning skills

· Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
