The Production Operator IV utilizes various manufacturing systems and processes to safely, effectively, and efficiently produce quality material at the identified productivity targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maximizes safety, environmental, and efficient performance; actively promotes continuous improvement activities; qualified on multiple jobs.
Analyzes process and quality data and takes appropriate action(s), if necessary, with the collaboration and/or direction of the Lead Operator.
Effectively communicates with employees on their shift of immediate responsibility, on-coming and off-going shifts.
Ensuring Process Orders (POs) are maintained in an accurate and timely manner including issues, receipts, scrap and rework generation, productivity.
Ensures KPI’s are met – including (but not limited to) ESHA, Quality, Productivity and all project activities.
Responsible for ensuring all 5S initiatives are met or exceeded each shift.
Reports incidents; ensures all assigned ESHA forms are accurate, complete and appropriately addressed (as needed).
Troubleshoot process equipment and make appropriate adjustments when needed
Move raw materials and finished product utilizing appropriate lifting equipment.
Closely and accurately follow process instructions and guidelines paying close attention to safety and environmental.
Sample and test material for quality assurance purposes and/or collect sample for submission for testing; Conduct in-process quality checks; properly document analysis numbers and take proper action based on quality data as necessary.
Create various labels and place on material containers; Ensure that all materials, containers, etc. are properly labeled.

REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or GED (some college is a plus)
1+ years of Manufacturing or production experience with Chemical production a major plus
Skill in SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint.
Excellent attendance and performance record.
Excellent safety record with a demonstrated ability to approach safety issues proactively.
Excellent mechanical and spatial aptitude.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Proficient personal computer skills, including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, presentation development, graphics, etc.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
