WYN - Machine Operator

OverviewThe Machine Operator operates the CNC machine to cut and build rollers. Sets up and operates a variety of machines.Responsibilities

Measures and sets up machines to manufacture a high volume of parts

Performs machine shop and mold press operations to support Assembly

Detects defective materials and questionable conditions and reports to the manager

Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition

Follows safety regulations

Performs preventative maintenance on machines

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Minimum of 1 year of related experience

Ability to use a band saw, hand tools and calipers and perform milling, turning, drilling, taping, deburring, molding, and all bench operations

Ability to read blueprints

Basic math skills

Knowledge of standard and metric measurements

Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques

Self-motivated and detail-oriented

Team orientation
