Automotive Parts Counterperson ( Part Time or Full Time)

Job Description

• Oversee the parts sales process to include: customer inquiries, parts location and invoicing the customer.

• Completes special order part request for any parts that need to be ordered for the customer/technicians.

• Communicates with customers/technicians on the status of any parts ordered and notifies them upon delivery to the dealership.

• Oversees parts receiving process

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Serves as backup to stocking clerk as necessary.

• Communicates with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.

• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Prior GM Parts experience preferred

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Experience with auto parts sales preferred

• People focused and strives to provide great customer service

• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Professional appearance and strong work ethic

• Proficient computer skills are preferred

• Valid and current Driver's License with ability to maintain a good driving record
