Job Description

RockCreek seeks a Vice President/Senior Associate of Performance Analytics and Reporting (OCIO/Multi-Asset Class), The Performance Analytics and Reporting team plays a strategic role at RockCreek and the successful candidate will be responsible for client reporting and performance analytics across all businesses within RockCreek.They will partner closely with senior team members in portfolio management, investment research, risk management, client service, legal/compliance and finance/operations to perform the following responsibilities:

  • Working with a team of analysts to provide custom and standard reports and analytics to OCIO/Multi-Asset Class clients and other business units within RockCreek
  • Preparing performance reports and performing quality control checks on reports for OCIO/Multi-Asset Class portfolios and certain RockCreek Funds and Strategies
  • Ensuring accurate and timely delivery of periodic reports and responses to requests from internal and external constituents such as clients, consultants, investment/portfolio management, client services, legal and compliance, and other teams across the firm
  • Partnering with the client service and business development teams in the preparation of presentations and reports for clients, consultants, RFPs, etc. including updating client and consultant databases
  • Work closely with custodians and fund administrators in reconciling investment portfolio and cash information
  • Working on projects and collaborating with internal teams to automate processes, improve efficiency using business intelligence tools and/or develop new reporting tools and systems

Maintaining and using performance reporting systems such as PARIS

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in a similar role in an investment or financial services firm
  • Strong understanding of investment products and strategies across multi-asset class portfolios (OCIO mandates) including equity, fixed income, hedge funds, private equity, private debt, real estate, etc.
  • Demonstrate project management experience in implementing systems (internal or vendor)
  • Affinity and demonstrated knowledge of Excel and understanding of databases and programming languages such as R, SQL, VBA, Python, Matlab, etc.
  • Familiarity with performance reporting systems, business intelligence tools and software such as Tableau
  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written
  • CFA, CAIA, FRM, CIPM and/or CPA designation will be a plus
