We are looking for a Project Manager I to join our Infrastructure Services (IS) team within the PMO. Why should you join the PMO? As a Project Manager, you will be working on exciting infrastructure driven projects for Fortune 500 customers across all verticals. Our global infrastructure planning and deployment services deliver thousands of projects each year.From employing our methodologies at hundreds of sites to leveraging complete enterprise design services, customers trust our infrastructure experts to assess the technology they have today and design the solutions they need for tomorrow. What will you be doing? This position oversees a small project or phase(s) of a larger project and has responsibility for all aspects of the project over the entire project life (engage, Plan, Design, Implement, and Operate). The Project Manager I must be familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the team. Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes data and creates financial reports
  • Manages key project financial components to ensure projects are delivered within budget
  • Delivers projects on time, within scope and within budget (triple constraint)
  • Creates a basic WBS with predecessors based on defined project deliverables
  • Creates and execute a basic communication plan
  • Monitors and reports on project progress to stakeholders
  • Leads project, client, and other stakeholder meetings
  • Identifies, assesses, and actively mitigates risks and resolves issues
  • Translates risks and issues to lessons learned
  • Develops a basic resource plan, working with Engineering Management to staff
  • Recognizes conflicts and difficult situations, escalating as needed, for assistance
  • Leads internal resources and third parties/vendors to successful execution of projects
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, or related field
  • Minimum two years of Project Management experience
  • Basic understanding of common financial project elements and metrics
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Understand difference between a risk and an issue
  • Hands-on, project management experience in various technologies
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Manage multiple small projects at one time
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer care and delight
  • Flexibility to work across multiple time zones as needed
  • 0-15% Travel required
