Find your future with us.Boeing 2CES Factory Operations organization is seeking a IT Project Management specialists based out of Everett, Washington. The successful IT Project Management Specialist will be responsible for high visibility IT projects and applications at the Electrical Systems Responsibility Center (ESRC), Interiors Responsibility Center (IRC), lead the Production Operation Management Integrated Product team as a Portfolio Manager and lead associated business development efforts. The role requires strong communication and integration skills to work across the IT and Enterprise Functions, including BCA, and BDS. The role will require a high energized and enthusiastic individual, eager for change and has the ability to adapt to the needs of the Factory Operations business.Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops and manages complex, enterprise-wide information technology (IT) project plans and deliverables.
  • Leads activities to determine project scope, schedule and budget baselines based on an understanding of the system development lifecycle.
  • Monitors project deliverables to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Identifies and negotiates for necessary resources to meet project goals. Provides analysis and recommendations on resource allocation.
  • Provides leadership and guidance on the development of project communication plans.
  • Leads activities to identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Must have experience presenting project status to program executives.
  • Prior experience working with large Agile, SAFe or DTE projects and teams, with proven record of consistently meeting schedule and cost targets.
  • Strong leader with aspirations to learn, grow and develop.
  • Ability to adapt to an ever-evolving statement of work while balancing several simultaneous projects and initiatives at once
This is a Hybrid PositionThe position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes , lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
  • 3+ years of experience managing IT projects or schedules
  • 3+ years of experience presenting project status to program executives.
  • 3+ years of experience working with large Agile, SAFe or DTE projects and teams, with proven record of consistently meeting schedule and cost targets.
  • Ability to create and support development of new projects, executive level presentations, and provide clear communication to multiple stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Outlook, and Access,
  • Experience with scheduling
  • Candidate should have strong computing skills, excellent communication skills, be customer-oriented, positive, flexible, and a strong team player.
  • Experience with Portfolio Management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an advanced ability to communicate effectively with teams and executive
  • Solid understanding and/or experience with BORIS, EVM, Scheduling, and AD&S
  • Solid understanding and/or experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles
  • Experience with the ITG (Clarity/CAPPM)
  • Experience with BORIS, ADO, TFS, Version 1, JIRA, MS Project and other PM tools
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
  • Strong leader with aspirations to learn, grow and develop.
  • Ability to adapt to an ever evolving statement of work while balancing several simultaneous projects and initiatives at once
Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
