CNC Screw Machinist/ Programmer

Allied Technologies International presents an opportunity to join an established & growing Machining & Manufacturing Team in our Swiss Machining Department. We have a diversified customer and industry base with AS9100, IS9001, ITAR certifications and with current efforts to become ISO13485 certified. We recognize & reward strong performers!

Responsible for set-up (including programming, Set-Up Sheet) and/or manufacturing production of part to the supplied customer print to achieve total print compliance. The development of optimal and efficient operation of equipment to achieve customer and company objectives.

Shift

Monday - Thursday 5:30am – 4:00 pm

Location

Tualatin, OREGON

Required Skills:

Program / Prototype working closely with production manager.

Experience with Hanwha CNC Swiss Machines and Fanuc controls is required.

Knowledge of advanced set up, machine speeds and feeds for materials and tools.

Work closely with Production Manager to optimize tooling, reduce scrap and improve efficiency.

Experience with the selection and use of the measuring tools required to inspect product.

Must be able to work independently but demonstrate the ability to work productively in a team environment.

Adhere to company policies and escalate nonconformance to your Manager.

Ability to cross-train team of operators to allow for flexibility.

Familiar with ISO requirements and understand company’s quality management system and utilizing it.

Must be able to Create a process and do the complete 1st Run after making a new program.

Read prints accurately, make adjustments, and understand GD&T.

Ability to prepare machines for operation by planning order of successive machine operations, installing and adjusting tools and other machine components.

Making off-sets and other adjustments is required.

Maintaining quality-machined parts in quantities of 100 to 10000.

Monitor machine performance.

Visually inspects surfaces for flaws and smoothness.

Use established practices to ensure quality during operation including documentation and techniques.

Perform first / final article inspections.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.

Strong attention to detail

Must be able to load material into machines, ability to bend, squat, twist, lift up to 40 lbs multiple times.

Empties chip bins.

Sweeps and cleans work area and equipment.

Deburr / Clean production Parts when needed.

Mechanically Inclined.

Perform preventative maintenance as required.

Qualifications:

Self-Starter / Self-Motivated / Flexible/ Team player.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to read, understand and complete all documentation.

Experience in CNC Swiss machining and set-up 5 to 10 years.

Experience in Programming medical / Aerospace using PartMaker CAM Software.

Successful candidates must pass drug test/ background check.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Must be able to work with others and exhibit a positive attitude.
