The ideal candidate should have a degree in computer science (or another technical discipline) or comparable work experience. An in-depth understanding of the Windows OS is essential, as are excellent C# and PowerShell development skills, troubleshooting capabilities, and experience with diagnostic/tracing tools. This engineer should also have a working knowledge of Linux, network protocols, information security concepts, and databases, along with declarative configuration management, orchestration, and CI/CD systems experience. Experience with Python, Java, Go, and/or JavaScript is preferred. Varied development experience (web apps/APIs, shared libraries, desktop applications, systems management) is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will preferably have a computer science or engineering degree or comparable experience, strong understanding of Windows and/or Linux OS and networking fundamentals, experience with low-level debugging (such as process and packet tracing), strong programming and scripting ability, and excellent communication skills. This individual must be comfortable supporting applications and services in both Linux and Windows environments. Experience with enterprise storage and/or market data networks is also desirable.
