Unified Communications Engineer - EDSS
Maryland, Annapolisjunction

Qualifications:

Interim Secret Clearance required prior to start

Engineer will possess a CISSP or CASP certification or obtain one within 6 months of hire

At least 5 years job experience in a related field

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly language.

Enterprise level expertise in Cisco IP Telephony products

Current knowledge of circuit delivery and telecommunications requirements analysis, including capacity planning and interface integration. Breadth of knowledge will include MPLS, ISDN, T-1, SIP, and delivery of services over this media, including VTC.

Previous experience with multi-site, multi-vendor telephony. Engineer will document and socialize network design and design considerations to a change-management team.

Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, SIP and RTP.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior USACE/ACE-IT experience.

Experience working in a DoD environment.

Experience working with MagicDraw application suite

Experience with DOD Architect Framework (DODAF)

Experience with Cisco UCCX
