Network Engineer - EDSS

Qualifications:

Interim Secret Clearance required prior to start

Engineer will possess a CISSP or CASP certification or obtain one within 6 months of hire

At least 5 years job experience in a related field

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly language.

Working technical knowledge of network control protocols (QOS, PfR, PoE, NTP, DHCP), network management protocols (CDP, FTP, TFTP, SNMP) and security protocols (SSH, HTTPS, AAA, IPSec).

Strong knowledge of IP communication and routing is required (OSPF, BGP)

Understanding of WAN/LAN transport technologies (Ethernet, DMVPN, MPLS)

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior USACE/ACE-IT experience.

Experience with enterprise WAN deployments

Experience working in a DoD environment.

Experience working with MagicDraw application suite

Experience with DOD Architect Framework (DODAF)
