This position requires creativity, attention to detail and frequent customer interaction while maintaining production requirements This position requires knowledge of bakery production and product preparation, food safety regulations, judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interaction, memorization, reading, writing, math. Position functions and work hours may vary according to business needs. Assignments and work direction provided by Bakery Manager or person in chargeESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS
Assist customers
Greet customers
Answer customer questions; provides product sampling and suggestive selling
Bring customers to location of item, when needed
Assists with product replacement and price checks
Answer bakery telephone calls promptly
Records cake orders accurately and completely
Assists at check out lanes as needed

Ensures a variety of product is prepared for maximum sales potential
