Job Description
Position Summary:The Applications Engineer will oversee the planning, design, and installation of machinery and equipment in an industrial facility.

- Develop and design the process, materials, and techniques for ITW/EAE equipment.
- Perform applications customer service through phone, written communication, as well as on-site.
- Perform design of experiments (DOE) to determine the best parameters for ITW/EAE equipment and how it applies to customer products.
- Experiment and develop new techniques, methods, trends, and processes.
- Publish and deliver papers to forums and customers promoting ITW/EAE equipment.
- Attend seminars and forums on new trends in Semiconductor and SMT. Document, instruct, and apply this information.
- General understanding of competitors’ equipment to best transfer applications performance of their equipment to ITW/EAE equipment.
- All other assigned duties
- Up to 50% travel will be required.
Qualifications
Education/Experience Required:B.S. in Engineering discipline with 2 -5 yrs. experience in engineering, or other technical discipline, or A.S. in Engineering Discipline with 4+ years’ experience in engineering and sales.
