Come join us, and find out what the best work of your career could look like for you.The Donohoe Companies, Inc. is currently seeking a Quality Control /Safety Manager to join our Integrated Facilities Maintenance Team in supporting a financial institution located in Washington, DC with a global presence in more than 140 countries. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in the supporting a Facilities Maintenance contract for large commercial buildings. The role will include implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate work performed by in-house staff and subcontractors which includes documentation of inspection and reporting findings in the Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS), Tririga. The goal is to ensure that work performed meets or exceeds established quality standards and industry practices. You will be response to prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data, working with the technical staff to resolve and discrepancy and implement control methods to provide corrective actions in processes to ensure standards of performance. Included in this role is the training of staff in self-evaluation of completed work according to industry best practices with associated follow up. The development of Standard Operating Procedures for repeated failures in conjunction with the Chief Engineer. Daily monitoring of Tririga to ensure all service requests and preventative tickets are being completed on schedule and with correct data entry. You will also be required to participate in monthly client facing reviews with the Account Executive to monitor the effectiveness of the technical facilities operations and maintenance staff in completion of service tickets, preventative maintenance and performance standards. The job duties include;Ensuring work completed by technical staff is on schedule for service call, preventative maintenance and repairs through various audit methods, inspections, tests and measures in accordance with job plans

Weekly equipment configuration inspections to ensure overall system performance is satisfactory

Monitor the management systems for compliance with applicable directives governing recall, maintenance, repairs and inspections of necessary support items such as documentation, calibration of equipment and material handling devices

Inspect procedural documentation, technical manuals and other standards and specifications to ensure they are current and that all applicable changes have been entered, including AutoCAD drawings

Ensure that personnel performing repairs to equipment follow all procedures governing the repair and operation of the applicable equipment

Perform, witnesses, monitors, and verifies the inspections, repairs, alterations and tests performed by shop personnel

Ability to integrate data into tools such as Tririga Advanced Reporting, Excel and Tableau

Monitors industry trends, makes recommendations of process improvements

Ability to collaborate with all stakeholders to effectively foster innovation to improve operational efficiencies

Three to Six years’ experience working as a Quality Control inspector facility maintenance

Two to three years on projects over 1 million square feet

Current OSHA 10/30 certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment)

Two to three years leading/managing capacity supporting Health, Safety, Quality Control, or Environmental Programs

Preference given to candidates who have acquired certifications with Safety and Quality Control

Experience in Facilities Management analytics, report writing and fault analysis

Demonstrated strong familiarity with operations and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC-R systems supporting commercial office buildings

Excellent analytical and organization skills

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills

Strong interpersonal skills
