- Planning and developing in-store specials, merchandising and display programs to increase sales and profits for the department and the store
- Working with vendors and sales reps to maximize current and new food items
- Maintaining a highly efficient selection of products and ensuring overall quality and price
- Ordering merchandise to achieve the proper balance, so that our shelves are always adequately stocked (especially the ice cream)

- Knowledge and experience with retail operations; grocery industry a plus
- Ability to stock an average of 60 cases per hour, lift up to 65 lbs. and work in varied temperature-controlled environments
- Ability to keep the work area safe and clean using company-approved equipment
- Strong attention to detail, business acumen, follow-through and dependability
