Paralegal/legal assistant

Holland Injury Law, a high profile boutique personal injury law firm located in downtown Clayton, has an exciting opportunity for a paralegal/legal assistant. If you have three to five years of personal injury plaintiff, insurance defense or similar experience and are seeking stable, long-term employment, we would like to speak with you.

Responsibilities include:

Communicate effectively with clients and medical providers to ensure proper medical care

Order, review and summarize employment and medical records (medical background is not necessary but previous experience in the area is required)

Verify liability insurance coverage and communicate with the insurance adjusters

Identify and negotiate medical and health insurance liens

Coordinate with records services to obtain employment, medical, billing, workers’ comp, and insurance records

Interact capably with teammates and legal professionals

Ideal candidate is a self-starter and team player with a positive attitude and a good work ethic who demonstrates maturity and good decision-making skills. Candidate should be organized, personable, reliable, helpful, and enjoy working in the legal field.
