CAN BE REMOTE.The location preferred is Mid-Atlantic area: DC, Virginia, Maryland, DE, NJ, PA New York as they would need to be able to drive to the Wilmington, DE site maybe once a month after all this COVID protocols end.NEEDS GRAPHIC DESIGNER EXPERIENCEThe client is looking for a passionate marketing and communications specialist needed to join the Diagnostics and Genomics Team! Come ready to craft region specific marketing campaigns focused on assigned product lines and industry segments. This position includes many task-oriented deliverables, from strategic program management from campaign development to deployment to reporting. This Marcom position requires excellent project management skills, and multi-tasking capabilities. You will be collaborating with employees, agencies, vendors, and from time-to-time external customers, plus there will be a need to coordinate projects across numerous product lines.The successful candidate will have the ability of working with campaign specialists to deploy high level campaigns, while also having the ability to build and deploy very targeted regional campaigns. You will have direct contact with our local sales team, Regional Program Managers, and be directly involved with customer facing programs.Key Responsibilities:Partner with a broad range of customers (scientists, product managers, executive management, consultants, etc.) in a highly-matrix environment to develop demand generation marketing campaignsWork with extended teams to discuss and develop high level concepts for technical marketing campaigns, marketing tool kits, and much moreLead communication projects and vendors in the areas of deploying marketing campaigns, such as Emails, Direct Mail, Web seminars, technical seminars, user meetings, tradeshows, etc.Facilitate resolution of differences of opinions across functional areas and teamsParticipate in Global Marketing program meetings to review content, format and timing of documents, tool kits and output, as well as reporting on campaign resultsGenerate and handle strategic marketing plans and budgetsOperate and run in a virtual and remote workplaceBe available to travel up to 10% of the timeWe also ask that applicants are willing and able to take ownership of the mentoring and/or training of colleagues, maintaining close contact with other internal groups and departments, and the coordination of external contractors and agencies.QualificationsBA/BS in Marketing/Marketing Communications or Life Sciences or equivalent (complemented by a post-graduate and/or certification/license)4+ years of which will be relevant marketing or communications experienceExperience with Pharmaceutical Industry marketing, or equivalent experience marketing scientific or highly technical instrumentationExcellent proven project management experience including demonstration of planning and organizational skills with minimal directionExperienced with PC based applications (MS Office Suite, desktop, and web publishing applications, photoshop, illustrator, etc.)Applicants must provide their phone number.
