The USMC TSO group is seeking an Associate Java Developer to join their team in Indianapolis, IN.GDIT as played a pivotal role in supporting the USMC Technology Services Organization (TSO) by providing software development, systems engineering, maintenance, and operations for Financial Management and Human Resource Management, Business Mission Area systems for the DoD, including USMC, Navy, Defense Finance and Accounting Service, Air Force Reserve, and Air National Guard.GDIT supports the TSO as a key component of a seamless GOGOCS Integrated Product Team (IPT). GDIT partners with the TSO to deliver mission critical and critical to customer applications in support of the Marine Corps integrated HRM and pay system, as well as the accounting system and a number of others.The Java Developer:Analyzes customer requirements to provide websites according to the client's specifications and needs.

Coordinates with graphics and web designers to develop web applications and websites.

Tests the final web applications and websites for next level production.

Maintains and makes updates to websites ensuring changes are implemented without disruption.

Implements contingency plans in preparation of website outages.

Maintains current knowledge of relevant programming that will enhance web applications and websites overall functionality.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:BA/BS (or equivalent experience)

Experience developing software utilizing Java and associated languages

Secret clearance
