DescriptionWe have a client in Carmel, IN that is actively searching for a 6+ years experienced Systems Administrator that can double into some Database Administration work, splitting the responsibilities around a 70/30. They are a project based company that is growing and looking to add to their team. Their ideal Systems Administrator would have experience in working with Microsoft Server 2016. For the DBA tasks, they are looking for someone that is knowledgeable and experienced in maintaining and updating SQL databases.What you get to do every single day: Setup, support, and maintain all servers Support network and communications systems planning and administration Perform general Microsoft SQL DBA tasks Ensure security of the environment Help review and update IT policies and procedures Work within their cloud environmentRequirementsWhat you bring to the role: Working knowledge of networks/systems Expertise in crafting, analyzing and fixing systems Ability to multitask and be flexible with day to day schedules Experience with database administration tasks Self starter that is able to work with minimal supervision BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experienceOur client is looking to schedule interviews immediately and start in late May.
