The Assistant Vice President, Regulatory Risk Project Manager will join a team focused on implementing reporting analytics and technology associated with the potential projected stress losses for our semi-annual CCAR capital planning and review processes. These tests are designed to test our capital adequacy focused on the companies Available for Sale (AFS) and Held to Maturity (HTM) Securities.The roles primary responsibility will be to manage, coordinate and support the team’s production process and the technology projects associated to the enhancements of the stress results generation. This will include the production of project reporting such as action planning and project status tracking. In addition, responsibilities will involve leading the team’s controls framework that covers End User Controls (EUCs), the team’s process controls and the maintenance of the Manager’s Control Assessment (MCA). The Assistant Vice President will also work closely with Technology , Subject Matter Experts, business, team’s reporting analysts, corporate functions and liaise with central Program Management Office (such as the Capital Planning Team) to assist with the team’s deliverables .Responsibilities will include:
Manage Projects and liaise with Workstream key stakeholders in relation to systems enhancements of the Workstream’ s forecasting calculations.
Assist with stress loss production analytical deliverables and ad-hoc requests
Work with Controls team to ensure that workstream complies with internal controls requirements (EUCs, Process controls, MCA, Model Risk Governance controls)
Manage Post Mortem issues tracking and resolve in coordination with key business and technology partners
Assist CCAR production with deliverables, project timetable intended to ease production constraints
Liaise with the Economic Forecasting Team to ensure that scenario variables are reviewed and ready for Workstream consumption prior to CCAR cycles
Assist in the maintenance of key Workstream documentation and Project related documentation
Produce project and program level reporting
Qualifications:The core strengths required for this position include but are not limited to:
Experience as a PMO professional with at least 3 years of experience in project management, financial analysis and project reporting, preferably in financial services industry
Experience with Finance Project Management and System Development Life Cycle, a plus
Experience with Product Control, Financial Analysis and Reporting a plus
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Candidate is expected to be a strong team player and work effectively in cross-organization situations
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Experience with especially Reporting system, Project Management tools, including Microsoft Project, a plus
