Freight Inspector (Fort Wayne, IN area)

We are hiring a freight inspector for Fort Wayne, IN area.

Must have:

computer with good internet service,

digital camera,

must be computer/technologically proficient,

car with insurance (optimally fuel efficient),

Internet browser must be current version of Chrome

Ability to size pictures 640 X 480

The job is as follows: Schedules and documents appointments, performs detail oriented inspections of specified goods, takes quality photographs of said goods, and reports their findings within the Virtual Freight Inspections software within 24 hours of physical inspection. The inspection process must be completed within 3 business days of the receipt of each order. Must use Chrome browser for efficient interface. This is a PART-TIME job. Inspections are completed during normal business hours.

The job requires traveling within your area and surrounding areas to inspect damaged shipments. Prefer that candidate live in the Fort Wayne, IN area. We require a person who is presentable in appearance and who is able to represent the company in a professional manner. Applicant must be able to attend work regularly and predictably. Applicant must be able to work during normal business hours, out of doors and in factory conditions. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Applicant must have regular access to e-mail and cell phone with text messaging capability.
