Job Description

The Call Center/ Collections Representative handles all-stages of collections of outstanding accounts receivable dollars from the existing client base and all other aspects of collections, resolving customer billing problems and reducing accounts receivable delinquency. This position will report to the Collections Front Line Manager.

Utilize negotiation skills to resolve customer delinquency issuesResearch problems, such as skip tracing, to develop external contactsShare knowledge with less experienced collectorsInterpret procedural instructions and choose courses of action to resolve delinquenciesSupport a range of products and servicesIncreases the Recovery of the past due portfolio of the different collection portfoliosAligns with the goals and parameters of the established operational processEnsures compliance with quality objectives and compliance with institutional policiesProvides the telephone collection service to the clientAppropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the client’s reputation, customers, and assetsDrives compliance with applicable laws and rules and regulations; adheres to PolicyCall out, handle, and report control issues with transparency

Qualifications

Qualifications:Must possess sound decision making and problem solving skillsShould have sound moral and ethical judgment regarding human behavior, conduct, and business practicesRemains focused and attentive to the needs and issues of both the customer and the organizationHas frustration tolerance, patience, and compassionRelevant work experienceHigh School diploma or equivalent
