Deputy Program Manager

Type of Requisition: RegularClearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: Top SecretJob Family: Program ManagementGDIT is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to help manage our Defense Enterprise Office Solutions (DEOS) program.The Deputy Program Manager, in collaboration with the Program Manager, will:Support all aspects of project development and implementation from original inception to final completion.

Serve as point of contact and interface to all parties involved including developers, administrators, engineers, senior leaders, and customers.

Work as a key member of the Program’s Leadership Team to facilitate communication, collaboration, and execution of the Program’s activities

Develop and/or contribute to program briefs to be delivered to all levels of leadership

Provide operational leadership and support to the Program’s full team to include account tracking, on & off boarding, all-hands to ensure the team is operating effectively and efficiently.

Gather customers’ requirements and establish project scope and objectives.

Prepare detailed schedules, project estimates, and status reports.

Coordinate and conduct meetings and ensure tasking and action items are tracked and executed.

Review deliverables and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Manage the integration of vendor tasks, and evaluates vendor deliverables.

Lead and be responsible for significant segments of a large complex projectprogram.

Translate customer requirements into formal agreements and plans to culminate in customer acceptance of results or have acceptance in the targeted market, while meeting business objectives.

Utilize refined techniques for identifying, eliminating, or mitigating solution, projectprogram and business risk.

As appropriate, challenge the validity of given procedures and processes with a view toward enhancement or improvement.

Analyze information and situations and implement actions, independently and/or through the Leadership team, to ensure projectprogram objectives are met.

Analyze new and complex projectprogram related problems and create innovative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components.

Required Qualifications:Active DoD Top Secret clearance

Bachelor of Arts/Science Degree

8 years of experience (additional years of experience and/or certifications may be considered in place of education)

2 years experience managing Cloud Service Offering or other highly technical Projects

Significant experience developing both high level and detailed briefs for senior leadership

Proven project management experience

Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environment

Able to report onsite as indicated above when needed

Desired Qualifications:PMP, ITIL, SixSigma certification
