job descriptionContinuous Improvement Engineerjob summary:A market leader in canned meat products is looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to add to their team. In this role, the CI Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing and sustaining operations focused improvement in all areas of the plant. To be considered for this role, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.location: Stillmore, Georgiajob type: Permanentsalary: $70,000 - 80,000 per yearwork hours: 8am to 5pmeducation: Bachelorsresponsibilities:Designing, developing and implementing improvements in process such as production standards, preventative maintenance, manpower requirements, cost impacts and plant layout.qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering or a related field

Minimum of 3-5 Years work experience

Experience in meat or food production is a plus

Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen experience a plus

skills:

Technical skills related to manufacturing processes and process improvement including automation, layouts and packaging technologies

Advanced use of Microsoft Office programs such as Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and Access

Minitab and statistical software experience a plus

Working knowledge and experience in time studies, Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, Kaizens
