The Project Coordinator is an entry-level position that directly supports Project/Program Managers (PM) in progressing development and commercial tech transfer projects through the development pipeline toward commercial productionlocation: Sugar Land, Texasjob type: Contractsalary: $22 - 24 per hourwork hours: 8am to 5pmeducation: Bachelorsresponsibilities:

Work with the cross functional teams to support PMs on drug development and commercial technical transfer projects from the initial awarding of the business through commercial process validation.

Communicate and coordinate project information between internal and external team members. Track both technical and business milestones for projects. Provide support in tracking of project tasks via MS project and/or similar systems.

Coordinate project team meetings, teleconferences, and visits. Effectively organize and conduct meetings and demonstrate facilitation and listening skills. Create meeting agendas, prepare minutes, track action items, archive project documents, and provide ad hoc support to the Project Manager as required.

Format and type confidential and non-routine documents. Proof work and make changes as necessary. Compose routine correspondence using predetermined formats. Prepare presentation slides and graphs from draft. Establish and maintain complex hard copy and electronic filing systems, maintain existing databases and develop routine spreadsheets and reports. Assist with development of new databases as necessary.

Perform with Project Managers the development, communication and follow up on project related communication such as meeting summaries, action plans, and next steps memos.

Coordinate, receive, distribute, and/or ship project information, samples, clinical supplies, commercial product, etc. Assist PM group in establishing all requirements for commercial launch/validation.

Identify potential issues and support PM in managing cross-functional resolution. Develop creative solutions to technical and organizational problems in order to keep projects on schedule. Consistently demonstrate skills for evaluating customer needs and offering alternatives to accomplish project goals.

Work independently to perform administrative projects, which include gathering information from various sources, working with managers in formatting, and preparing final results and expediting documents through internal systems.

Understand and comply with all safety, environmental and quality practices, and procedures as outlined in organizational/departmental guidelines and SOPs as well as applicable federal, state and local regulations.

qualifications:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Degree in Business, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Organic Chemistry, or related science field

1-2 years of experience in similar role or industry is preferred

CAPM (certified associate in Project Management) is desired

Ability to perform computations such as percentages, ratios, and rates.

Ability to read and interpret complex business and/or technical documents

Ability to write comprehensive reports and detailed business correspondence
