BLUESTONE Jewelry Sales Associate FT or PT $19-$24

We are looking for someone who sincerely enjoys helping customers for our Truckee and Tahoe City locations!

Our Truckee location has a Sunday thru Thursday position for you. Must be 21 to work with wine as we have a wine shop in the back of our jewelry store.

We are considering qualified candidates for Full time or part time - We have Saturday and Sunday shifts open. There are opportunities for Full Time year round employees that receive incentive bonus, medical, profit sharing and 401K! Great summer work for college students.

Best candidate will understand Point of Sale systems, be comfortable with computers and has jewelry experience OR interest in developing their jewelry knowledge.

Hours and pay will be commensurate with your experience. Experienced sales person can grow into higher income based on performance in short order Full time jobs can develop medical benefits, profit sharing, and 401K plans once applicable.

The Bluestone Jewelry sales person works directly with customers, helping identify their needs and selling them merchandise. They perform a number of tasks such as presenting jewelry, conducting sales, running credit cards, and taking in jewelry for repairs. You must become knowledgeable about the items in the store to answer potential customer questions and effectively sell products; for example, the you must know the difference between different types of metal, understand the processes used to make merchandise, and ideally have an understanding of gemstones. The position will grow in to responsibilities for specific brands in the collection. Jewelry Sales Associates must use their customer-service skills to effectively make sales and build long-term relationships with customers. Also the position maintains an orderly store and wants to grow with the business.
