Accounting Systems - Product Management - Lead Associate

Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will provide expert advice and team leadership in reviewing the quality of products to ensure proper functionality and end-user experience, as well as guide the preparation of reporting and analyses of feedback to product development teams about product functionality.

• Lead team members in evaluating products or components of products.
• Assess the alignment of products to stated design requirements.
• Provide feedback to internal and projects teams.
• Lead team members with product development to deliver on Fannie Mae's vision and purpose.

Qualifications

• Create and refine test strategy in evaluating accounting system products or underlying components
• Lead team members in defining and executing test cases
• Assess the alignment of products to stated design requirements and identify deficiency or defects
• Provide feedback to internal and projects teams.
• Work closely with product owners and developers to deliver on Fannie Mae's vision and purpose.

• 5+ years of related experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent inComputer Science, Computer Information Management, Software Engineering, Accounting, Business, or Finance
• Ability to analyze data and summarize the information
• Experience of testing and evaluating software, usability testing, UAT, and using relevant product testing technology
• Ability to translate business requirement into positive and negative test cases
• Demonstrated problem solving, research, and detailed data analysis skills, with the ability to understand issues and develop solutions
• Must have strong data analysis using SQL and/or Excel
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a cross functional team
• Working experience in Agile environment focused on system development
• Strong communication including communicating in writing or verbally

• Knowledge of Mortgage industry, especially Multifamily Loans business domains and applicable accounting rules is strongly preferred
• Working experience with accounting systems or exposure to GAAP/TAX accounting isa plus
• Experience of developing Alteryx workflows is a plus
• Experience of SimCorp Dimension system is a plus
• Experience of test automation tools is a plus
