job descriptionQA leadjob summary:Job Responsibilities for onshore QA Lead:

Over 9-10 years of experience in IT as a QA lead.

Should have experience in Agile methodology.

Should have manual as well as TOSCA automation testing experience, other automation skillsets will be an added advantage.

Hands on experience with testing APIs

Should Have communication skills and ability to work with project leads and participate in work group meetings.

Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release / delivery.

Should be able to Apply the appropriate test measurements and metrics in the product and the Testing Team, Planning, deploying and managing the testing effort for any project.

Experience in different types of testing like - Functional Testing, Integration Testing, Data Testing, API Testing.

knowledge of defect management life cycle.

Should be an initiative taker within a challenging work environment.

Manager with good organization, planning and leadership skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.

Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.

Lead and mentor QA team members, as well as manage outside contract testers.

Develop and test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated)."
