For the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), GDIT provides enterprise IT services for DHS’s biometric identity management system (IDENT) and the Office of Biometric Identity Management (OBIM) to store, match, share, and analyze biometric and biographic data in support of DHS’s strategic mission. GDIT’s O&M services support break-fix of current OBIM functional capabilities, as well as security remediation activities and developmental engineering (such as prototyping new code or configurations of OBIM functionality). The successful candidate will monitor and maintain performance of the enterprise application tier (in production and non-production environments) and support investigation and remediation of complex technical incidents impacting stakeholder missions.Other specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: Working with stakeholders and developers to identify causes of system/code issues. Deploying code and maintain baseline across many environments. Working with security team on an on-going basis to ensure COTS comply with DHS security standards.Required Skills / Qualifications: DHS HQ EOD required to start; must be able to obtain DHS HQ Final Suitability Bachelors degree and 10+ years of related experience. Configuration management experience, e.g., using Ansible, Chef, or Puppet UNIX shell scripting Working knowledge with Git/GitHub Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills Excellent communication skillsDesired Skills / Qualifications: Masters in computer engineering, computer science, information systems, or related field of study 15+ years of relevant experience Experience developing SQL scripts Experience developing Jython scripting Experience with Oracle WebLogic Server and Oracle Fusion Middleware administration, managing multiple application domains and setting and configuring multiple authenticators Experience with TIBCO Business Works (BW) and Enterprise Message Service (EMS) administration, managing multiple domains and configuring BW trace parameters for debugging Experience with F5 BigIP Local Traffic Manager, setting up and configuring VIPs and server pools and developing and configuring iRules Working knowledge with PKI, renewing and implementing security certificates Experience with Postfix and email server administration Certifications: ITIL Foundation; Amazon Web Services (AWS); or Oracle WebLogic ServernullWe are GDIT.
