Graphic Designer needed for newspaper/magazine

An award-winning weekly newspaper and quarterly regional lifestyle magazine based in Madison, Ga., seeks a full-time graphic designer to create visual concepts, high-quality design, and marketing materials that are impactful and engaging.

Major duties will include:

- Layout and design of newspaper each week, including advertising content

- Conceptualization, design, and content organization of the magazine each quarter

- Design and copywriting of advertisements, marketing and promotional materials for the magazine, newspaper and seasonal special sections

- Manage every step of production from desktop to printer, including adherence to staff deadlines

- Help manage the newspaper and magazine’s website and social media

Candidate must have experience in print production and be proficient with InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Studio photography or photojournalism experience a major plus.
