SummaryYou will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Multi-Sensors Surveillance Systems Branch, Munitions Services Branch, or Deployed Personnel Office of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.ResponsibilitiesYou will develop and implement long and short term planning for required funding, human resources, facilities and equipment.You will develop and implement the organization's project and programmatic policies and procedures, and determines criteria for assessing effectiveness.You will be responsible for the development of the workforce, effective execution of workload consistent with organizational initiatives and objectives, and for providing outstanding support and service to assigned customers.You will identify solutions and provide guidance and advice to subordinates and to other supervisors and managers.You will plan, distribute, coordinate, and monitor work assignments of subordinates.You will evaluate work performance and provide feedback to subordinates regarding their performanceRequirementsConditions of EmploymentQualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 pay band (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing leadership or guidance to others on development of the workforce, effective execution of workload, or quality of support and services in order to meet program objectives.
