Job Description:• Proven track record in leading complex software projects involving search in Retail business• Years of experience with large scale databases and information retrieval projects• Experience and knowledge with search stack such as Apache Solr and SolrCloud, Apache Lucene, Elasticsearch, etc,.• Any additional experience in search is an advantage!• You possess a knack at lifting others to achieve the same level of excellence you expect from yourself

Key Qualifications: Experience in managing Solr clusters. Have a passion in leading a team for automation by creating tools using Python. Have experience monitoring systems, building and monitoring dashboards. Experience understanding of Unix/Linux based operating system. Experience writing solr queries. Experience on indexing and querying data from Solr with variety of data sources. Experience writing data discovery, analytics and Visualization application using Solr. Experience implementing search solutions using solr. Basic knowledge of Hadoop will be added advantage.
