Summer Camp Patrol Cooking Manager

We are seeking a Patrol Cooking Manager to run and manage a kitchen at a summer camp. This manager will prepare food in a patrol cooking manner. Meaning you will be preparing food so that campers can cook this at their campsites. This a part-time position lasting only 8 weeks. During this time you will be preparing meals for up to 200-300 persons per meal consisting of 10 person patrols. This position requires you to be in the kitchen for 10+ hours a day for 5-7 days weekly and your time off depends on your pace of work. The demand for patrol cooking will only last for 5 weeks and your other weeks at the camp will be spent working in the other kitchen on the camp campus.

Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operation of food service staff
Monitor quality of products and services produced
Adjust daily schedule for shift personnel to ensure optimal efficiency
Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies
Maintain health standards for raw and finished products
Qualifications:
Previous experience in food service or other related fields
Knowledge of common food safety practice
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and communication skills
