Medical Receptionist/Insurance Verification (Paterson, NJ)

Same Day Surgery Center is in search of a professional, reliable, presentable and extremely courteous individual who will be responsible for verifying insurance amongst other clerical responsibilities (answering phones, registering patients, etc.)

VERY IMPORTANT THE APPLICANT BE PUNCTUAL AND MUST HAVE FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE TO BE ABLE TO PICK UP MORE HOURS (early morning and some late nights and weekends).

TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED SO WE REQUEST ONLY SERIOUS APPLICANTS PLEASE.

ONLY apply if you meet the following requirements and are flexible with work schedule:

Must have previous experience verifying insurance benefits (NJ PIP, WC, NY NF & any and all commercial insurances).

Must be available to work Saturdays if needed.

Must have previous experience working in a medical office/health care facility due to high speed environment and know how to address patients while in waiting room, attend to their needs.

Have EXCELLENT phone manner and be comfortable with intercom paging. As well as strong email capabilities.

MUST BE BILINGUAL Spanish / English due to patient population.

Familiarity with all HIPPA regulations for patient care in health care facilities.

Compensation based on experience. MUST have minimum 1 year experience with NJPIP, NY NF and WC insurance verification.
