Screening Aide

Job DescriptionKelly is looking for individuals who are interested in making a difference in the fight against Covid-19 in Hammond, Indiana.Pay: $15 per hourWe have the following shifts Available:Monday - Friday: 1:30 AM - 9:30 AMMonday - Friday: 1:30 PM - 5:30 PMSaturday - Sunday: 1:30 AM - 9:30 AMIndividuals will:

Take temperatures outside of staging tents using laser thermometers

Greet incoming potential patients

Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Must be willing to wear full protective suits/garb

Must be willing to work in the elements

Job Scope:

Temperature taking of on-site employees as they enter the facility using non-touch infrared thermometer

Specific PPE will be provided and must always be worn while on duty

Proper training to be provided on the usage and appropriate disposal practices in accordance with OSHA and client Protocol guidelines

Screening Analysts will stand behind barrier sneeze guards to complete the screening process for all incoming personnel

The individual being screened ideally would stand six (6) feet from the barrier at a line and only step forward to a line three (3) feet from the barrier when instructed to do so by the Screening Analyst. Screening Analyst could lean forward slightly, if needed, only during the temperature taking process. The person being screened would then step back to the six (6) foot line for instruction from the Screening Analyst

Screening Analysts will engage client designated personnel for anyone who has exceeded the screening guidelines

Temperature Screening barrier will be disinfected as necessary between each shift change

RequirementsRequirements:

Positions will not require any healthcare or medical qualifications or licensing and will not be performed in a healthcare setting

Client will provide non-contact infrared/thermal thermometers and any other equipment or supplies necessary for Screening Analysts to perform the scope of the assignment and to meet the general guidance of its protocols, to include disinfectants for the workplace and equipment.

Client will ensure that all Screening Analysts are provided with Personal Protective Equipment ("PPE") and provide training in the proper usage of equipment, including gloves and surgical masks

Client will ensure that a barrier guard separates the Screening Analyst from the individuals being screened

Client will train Screening Analysts on its safety protocols and provide any site-specific training required in its facilities
