International Paper Maintenance Technician FULL-TIME $24.14/hr, plus $2000 new hire bonus 2502 E US Hwy 50, Garden City, KS 67846 We currently have an opening for a Maintenance Technican at our manufacturing facility located in Garden City, KS. This facility manufactures corrugated packaging products for local and national customers. We are looking for a motivated individual who is capable of performing a multitude of functions in a flexible, fast-paced environment and is able to multi-task and prioritize time and work. The mechanic will be required to diagnose, repair, replace and install plant electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems for all plant operating equipment.Schedule - Shift start: 3:00PM or 11:00PM - Shift length: 12 hours - Days: 5 Days a week and weekendsBenefits - Health, dental, vision insurance available after 30 days - Paid time off - 401kRequirements - Minimum requirements are two (2) years of journeyman level mechanical and electrical experience preferred. Qualified candidates must have in-depth knowledge and practical application experience in electrical, electronics, PLC's, cutting/welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, steam and boiler systems and conveyor systems. Requires the ability to work in a team environment as well as the ability to work additional and flexible hours including weekends as needed. Must be willing and able to work all shifts depending on company business needs. Must have your own set of tools.
