Retail sales asscociate for a reptile store

We are looking for a Retail Sales Associate to provide excellent customer service at our reptile store. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about reptile products/animals. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Willingness to learn new things in the reptile industry.

Responsibilities

-Answer customers questions about reptile products and animals

-Feed and clean animal cages

-Keep back room clean and tidy

-Ensure racks are fully stocked

-Manage returns of merchandise

-Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager

Skills

-Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role

-Understanding of the retail sales process

-Previous reptile knowledge, can be from being a hobbyist

-Be an animal lover

-Excellent communication skill

-Ability to perform in fast-paced environments

-Flexibility to work various shifts

Pay rate at $13-$14/hr
