Data Hub Programmer

Job Description

• Our client needs someone to help us reverse-engineer and document and upgrade the Medicaid/MaineCare eligibility interfaces that include highly complex data transformations written in PL/SQL and SQL.
• This Developer will be primarily responsible for upgrading and maintaining these interfaces, as well as making recommendations for future enhancements to these interfaces and helping us transfer ownership of these interfaces from one support team to another.

• Data Hub Programmer will bemodifying or writing new PL/SQL packages and procedures based on requirements.
• Data Hub Programmer migrates PL/SQL from one DB to another updating code as required.
• Regression testing an interface after it has been migrated.
• Investigating interface issues:
• Troubleshooting slow SQL queries.
• Investigating underlying data
• Reverse-engineering undocumented logic
• Communicating with other IT teams that support source systems to understand their underlying data and logic

• Oracle SQL
• Oracle PL/SQL, SOA, and OSB
• Interfaces in PL/SQL, Re-engineer the OSB

• Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming, SOA and OSB
• Understand complex database table structures and relationships in an Oracle Database
• Ability to create tests that validate assumptions about interface code, both existing and new
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical staff to understand existing systems.
• Interfaces development, including:
• Database links
• File-based interfaces
• Web services (SOAP and REST)

• Medicaid claims and eligibility
• Oracle SOA Suite or Oracle Service Bus (focus on these skills sets)
• Java Development
• Linux shell scripting
