They manage accounting and reporting for Nike's multi-billion-dollar global investment portfolio, debt and equity instruments, and other Treasury activities. They strategize, forecast, audit, analyze, budget, research and lead important decisions. Real-time access to clean, reliable data and innovative reporting and analytics capabilities are key enablers of that roadmap, and Finance Business Intelligence is owning the charge for change in this area.We are looking for a Manager to lead Data and Reporting Operations efforts for our team focused on supporting stakeholders and dependent systems. This person will manage a team of Finance Data professionals that deliver key periodic reporting and ensure that Nike's financial systems are constantly in a state of readiness to support key Finance processes. Additionally, this person will be tasked with maintaining constant communication with their business partners in Business Planning, Marketplace, Revenue and Margin among others.General responsibilities:

  • Lead team of data and analytics analysts
  • Work closely with FBI counterparts to connect data and analytics initiatives with the local finance functions
  • Take ownership of key reporting and systems results
The ideal candidate:

  • possesses strong leadership and ability to balance multiple priorities, processes, timelines, and expectations
  • has proven experience solving sophisticated problems through data and analytics, including insights that are logical, data driven, simple to understand and aligned to business goals
  • can build and maintain positive relationships with diverse business team members and partners
  • has superb communication and presentation skills to a broad range of audiences
  • has intuition for business and understanding of core finance processes
  • is inquisitive, creative, and continuously learning
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or Finance; or equivalent combination of education and experience and training.
  • MBA and/or advanced degree preferred but not required
  • 7+ years experience in data, reporting analytics or finance
  • Experience leading a high performing team
  • Finance experience working in a global business environment preferred
Toolkit:
  • High-level skill in Excel required
  • Reporting and/or administration experience in a global ERP required
  • SAP S4, SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Amazon Web Services, Snowflake literacy desirable
