As a Program Director, you will be trusted to work on managing an innovation portfolio of projects. In this role, a typical day will include:Acting as prime point of contact for all Customer interface and communication on the Program and responsible for overall Customer satisfaction.

Possess a deep understanding of Health innovation and Customers existing and future needs, and ensure GDIT is meeting and exceeding Customer expectations through both delivery and innovation.

Must interface with Administration stakeholders and other VA senior executive service staff

Possess knowledge of VA organizational structure

Leading the integration of partners in service delivery

Lead a cross-functional team of experts and technologists to serve health-related customer requirements.

Supervise assigned technical and administrative staff, including subordinate managers, and performs personnel actions including hiring and performance evaluation.

Direct program activities to meet client and organization work objectives and serves as a liaison with clients to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems.

Responsible for profitability and revenue growth of assigned programs.

Assures quality of program products, services, and deliverables, including participating in reviews, audits, and site visits.

Performs program financial management services, including financial analysis, budget and cost quote preparation, cost management, reconciliation, and profit enhancement.

Coordinates and monitors sub-contractor activities and administers subcontractor deliverables and finances.

Develops, reviews, and approves plans, schedules, consulting agreements and other program documents.

Prepares and provides various reports and technical reviews to senior management as requested.

Ensures compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards.

Your success will be measured through the quality of program growth and customer satisfaction.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:BS, Masters preferred

Must have more than 10 years of program management experience

Must have 3+ years of direct experience in VHA

Must have 5+ years managing direct service delivery involving health applications and processes

Must have 3+ years demonstrating innovation of solutions through technology, processes, and tools

Must have demonstrated experience managing annual budgets in excess of $25M annually

Proven ability to rapidly analyze situations and provide positive alternatives

Technical skills: program management

Preferred qualifications: PMP preferred or PgMP
