Please watch this brief video to find out if this is the place you want to be!Job Purpose:Responsible for maintaining organization and standard processing procedure of seized and recovered electronic media from Correctional facilities. Works with the State Department of Corrections and Guarded Exchange Personnel. ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties:

Receive and log all seized recovered electronic media into spreadsheets as well as ERIN (when applicable).

Create proper documentation for all recovered electronic media including proper completion of chain of custody paperwork.

Take clear digital photos of all seized evidence.

Effectively handle biohazard evidence.

Support the State Department of Corrections and Guarded Exchange personnel by communicating the status of inventory.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Understanding of computers and; document management; internet; hardware and software troubleshooting; electronic mail systems, such as Exchange and Outlook; Microsoft Office applications.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Criminal Justice, or equivalent work experience in the field/

Possession of professional certifications and membership in professional associations.

Physical Requirements:Standing, sitting, walking, speaking, listening, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping and manipulating tools, typing, using peripheral computer tools.
