Caretaker or Caretaker Couple Wanted

We are searching for a person to help develop and maintain our 330 acre rather pristine, private wildlife preserve in North Central Ky.

We have built 10 lakes and ponds, the largest being 35 acres. It is a “Field of Dreams” for us as many Canada geese, wood ducks, mallards, bald eagles, osprey, heron, deer, turkey and others frequent or now call this place their home.

We expect you to love the outdoors, wild critters, privacy, gardening and working with us to create and maintain this wildlife habitat.

You will be fully vaccinated since you care about others as well as yourself and family. You will not be a tobacco smoker.

We are a honey bee sanctuary dedicated not only to providing pesticide-free food sources, but planting acres of plants that they love.

We would share great fishing, swimming, kayaking, some restricted hunting, as well as hiking access to over 7000 acres of neighboring privately owned forest.

We expect you to have extensive farm machinery maintenance experience or strong mechanical experience and have your own mechanics tools even though you would not necessarily need them here as we have a fully equipped service center and shop.

We can provide a comfortable, private 2 bedroom cottage with central heat and air and a large covered front porch with spectacular views and salary proportionate to your skills and available hours.

Experience operating and maintaining heavy equipment- large dozer, road grader, backhoe, trencher, and general farm equipment, will be a plus.
