If this position may be interested to you, please email me back at somp767@kellyservices.com (with your most up to date resume in word format) and advise the best time and number at which you can be reached Job Title: IT Business Analyst Location: Andover, MA, 01810 (Remote is possible) Type: W2 only (No C2C) Length: 8 months Pay Rate - $50 to $57 per hour Required skillset: Business analysis with medical devices business experience Overview: There is an immediate need for a business analyst role to support the Global Unique Device Identification (UDI) program with a primary focus on the European Databank for Medical Devices (EUDAMED) implementation. This role will require expertise and experience in analyzing, developing, and documenting existing and future business processes. The business analyst will be conducting business requirements gathering to support the next phases of the EUDAMED/Global UDI program. This role will engage in the User Acceptance Testing activities: scenario development, scripting and UAT execution. This role will be responsible for training development and delivery at the global and site levels. They will be the primary business contact in the hyper-care phase and troubleshoot production issues, including analysis to determine if defects are processing issues, requirements issues, or system issues, and recommend next steps to resolve. This role will also support data mapping between source and downstream systems related to UDI submissions. They will serve as business process expert in UDI procedures and serve as a key backup in support existing program objectives including UDI submission business as usual implementation. Responsibilities:
- Organize and lead workshops to gather key information and own all business documentation related to the project.
- Work with the business to understand and analyze business requirements and translate them into IT systems solutions.
- Have a thorough understanding of business processes, be able to identify areas for process and system improvement and contribute to necessary process and system enhancements.
- Contribute and support the project manager towards successful delivery of projects.
- Have the ability to take on the role as project manager from time to time.
- Produce high quality business and technical requirements documentation.
- Accountable for business training development and delivery.
- Establish thorough understanding of in-scope product master data attribution. Develop data dictionaries and glossaries, mapping, and consolidating requirements across markets. Support data profiling, normalization, and data quality efforts.
- Prepare and present management-level briefing decks and other communications tools required to support the job functions listed above.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3-5 years of medical device business experience required.
- Experience in UDI solution delivery preferred.
- Experience with developing documentation to efficiently communicate requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Experience with product master data or comparable, with emphasis on data management processes, data quality/governance, and/or manipulation.
- Experience working in multi-discipline teams in a global environment.
- Experience in providing training for both internal and external staff.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, SharePoint, databases.
